Acupuncture
We offer in-person individual and community acupuncture in New West.
Acupuncture helps regulate the nervous system, improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and support the body’s natural ability to rebalance. Many patients come in for pain, tension, headaches, stress, sleep issues, or digestive concerns, and acupuncture works by addressing both the symptoms and the underlying patterns contributing to them.
Why does it work?
Acupuncture influences the nervous system, fascia, blood flow, and pain pathways. Traditional Chinese Medicine explains it through Qi, meridians, and organ systems, restoring balance so the body can function more smoothly.
How long before seeing change?
The honest answer is: it depends. Some people feel relief immediately or within a few sessions, especially for acute pain or stress. Chronic or long‑standing conditions often take more time because the body needs repeated signals to shift patterns. Patients should expect noticeable change within 3–6 treatments, but every body responds differently. Most importantly, patients must participate in their healing journey.
